Waiting lists are long in some cases, but Bedford County residents who are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine are finding places to get their shots, local officials say â even if it means holding clinics outside of normal business hours. The latest of these will be this weekend, where Bedford Family Health Center will hold a clinic on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Bedford Middle School. The vaccinations are only for those who fit into the Department of Healthâs Phase 1A of the rollout. Iowa state officials and company representatives said they believe there are enough pharmacists and technicians to equitably reach all of the state’s long-term care facilities.
