Fire and Emergency Services Department, had purchased masks and sanitisers but the prices paid by the South Regional Fire Officer are very different from those paid by the East Regional Fire Officer.
This correspondent had filed an
RTI application on February 2, 2021 seeking information on money spent for sanitisers and face masks between March 2020 and December 2020.
According to the RTI documents, the Regional Fire Officer of Bengaluru East had purchased 14
N95 Face Masks for Rs 1,600. Each of the masks cost Rs 114. It is a reasonable and fair price even though some vendors are supplying
