The
Bangalore Development Authority (
BDA) has developed 64 layouts in the city. The authority issued preliminary notifications to acquire 37,168 acres to develop the layouts and has paid compensation of about Rs 2,000 crore, but is yet utilise more than 1,100 acres.
The BDA had acquired thousands of acres for developing the layouts but did not have details on the number of acres utilised and the number of acres lying unsued even after paying compensation to the landowners for acquiring their land.

BBMP) is becoming increasingly oblivious to the condition of the roads in the City. Recently, the civic body even failed to notice the conversion of a road in
Jayanagar when a
builder changed things up as per his personal convenience.

pocket money, Rs 4,190 saved up for four years, to the
Chief Minister’s
Relief Fund. Mayank did not hesitate to donate his savings even if it meant that he would have to forego his dream to buy a drone with his pocket money.
“I came to know about the problems of covid patients through the newspapers and the television. Their plight made me donate my savings to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund through the Bengaluru Urban Deputy Commissioner.
