Westmont College turned up the heat on defense and dominated on the boards in roaring to an 85-41 women’s basketball win over Hope International in the Golden State Athletic Conference opener for both teams on Tuesday at Murchison Gym.
The Warriors, the No. 3-ranked team in the NAIA, blew out the game in the second quarter, outscoring Hope 23-10 to take a 38-22 lead.
