The Foundation for Rural Integrated Enterprises and Development or FRIEND has been distributing close to 1,500 food packs a week to families that have been affected by COVID-19.
FRIEND founder and CEO, Sashi Kiran says they are seeing an urgent rise in need for food and medication to be delivered to people who are in isolation at the moment adding that there is an increasing number of people in isolation that need to be supported.
