With barely a scratch on his body, he is having a difficult time making sense of losing his only brother, francis, in last nights car crash. Francis, who worked in an ice cream factory, leaves behind a pregnant fiancee and two children. One son is a toddler, the other a teenager. My uncle went to go do a uturn and was stuck in the middle. The car came the rest is his tore. He kept going. Its not right at all. Reporter accident investigators tell us after the driver of the mitsubishi suv struck the brothers mazda sedan, witnesses called 911 and followed the suv which the driver abandoned. He went to the hospital. Doctors did what they could do. It was too late. While police are looking for that driver, oswaldo and his family are looking for this dog. They shared with me the flyer they are passing out. From what hes heard it sounds like somebody may have picked up the dog shortly after the crash last night. Police arrested Stephen Burton in maryland last night. A neighbor told nbc 10 she heard Danecia Berrian screaming in her home early yesterday morning. Burton suffered several stab wounds. The man also stabbed the couples 1yearold desiree in the stomach. Both are in critical condition. It was a violent confrontation and arrest all caught on video. Now the attorney for a Delaware County man wants the u. S. Department of justice to take over the investigation. We showed you this video last week of chester city and township officers arrested walter mote. Delaware County District attorney jack whalen said thursday he hedid not see excessive force. Prosecutors say cook his girlfriend and another friend drove from williamstown to West Oak Lane to buy a tv from coffey who allegedly shot cook in the face before robbing him. He was arrested at his willow grove home. The exsoninlaw of tom corbett will face charges. Investigators say gibson was on duty as a Philadelphia Police narcotics officer when the incident happened. Fiat chrysler being forced to buy back hundreds of thousands of ram pickup trucks and other vehicles this afternoon. Reporter its part of a costly deal with safety regulators to settle legal problems in about two dozen recalls. Also part of the deal a record 105 million fine the largest civil penalty ever from the national highway Traffic Safety administration. The penalty was broken down into a 70 million cash penalty. The company will have to spend at least another 20 million to meet performance standards outlined in the settlement. Federal regulators say the reason for the harsh penalty, Fiat Chryslers poor performance that put millions of people at risk. As for the buybacks they include vehicles like the dodge ram pickup with faulty suspension that could cause a driver to lose control. Under the agreement Fiat Chrysler is to the buy back the ram trucks for the Purchase Price plus minus, i should say, depreciation. The cash payouts could be substantial. Listen to this. So just about everybody had some rain. The areas in yellow and red had the most and there he we are in the pocono mountains. Radar estimates, four to five inches of rain in parts of carbon and monroe counties. Over three inches of rain in parts of northampton county. About a quarter inch around allentown. Parts of Chester County and southern berks county also had two to three inches of rain. But around the philadelphia area less than an inch. We got lots of clouds around but not a whole lot of showers, as you can see. As we go through the next few hours, most of us will not get wet but there could be some isolated pockets of heavy rain and because its not moving some places could get a lot of rain while five miles away you get nothing. We have very little activity around that area right now. We have most of it in southeastern pennsylvania nothing like as strong as whats down by washington, d. C. These are small showers but some of them are heavy. You see this over cheltenham and you see that its not moving. If this stays on the heavier side and continues to not move now youve got multiple inches of rain possible in some spots. Theres another one between cherry hill and mt. Laurel. The others we have been following in Montgomery County have weakened somewhat so if its a light shower that stays in one spot thats okay. This heavier shower in delaware has weakened as well. We continue to watch for any of these isolated showers. They are capable of producing pretty heavy rain in a short period of time and if they dont move, a lot more than just a brief period of rain. We have new details just into the newsroom about the death of Bobbi Kristina brown. Her initial autopsy is complete and the medical examiner says they found no obvious cause of death or significant injuries. There was also no evidence of previously unknown medical conditions. Brown died sunday in hospice care nearly six months after she was found unresponsive in a bathtub inside her suburban atlanta townhome. The m. E. s office is ordering lab tests and has issued subpoenas for hospital documents. All this to try to help determine exactly how she died. The daughter of the late Whitney Houston and bobby brown was 22 years old. Billions in damages, three Public WorkersPension Funds are now suing new jersey claiming the State Government breached contracts when it contributed less than it planned. The filing is the latest in more than a year of legal battles over pension contributions in new jersey. Governor christie decided last year to veer from a Pension Funding plan he signed into law in 2011. The state Supreme Court has ruled that it cannot force the state to put money into the fund at a certain time. But the court did find that retirees are entitled to the pensions they have been promised. Two professional poker players are suing the borgata casino in Atlantic City after the casino sued them.
