All right. First a bit of confession, whether it is good for the soul or not.
When told that a couple from Mount Holly have a grandson on the USA water polo team which begins competition Friday in the Olympic Games in Tokyo, I had no idea just what the sport was.
Awakening my hectoring boss, Gazette Managing Editor Kevin Ellis, who was dozing at his desk, I asked him what he knew about water polo.
"It's all about the horses," he sleepily responded. "They have to stay afloat in the water for the entire match."
