The bus driver was questioned at the scene. No charges have been filed. Meanwhile, a man hit by car in manhattan is expected to survive his injuries. Police say the man was struck after he got out of his own vehicle on 8th avenue in chelsea about 3 00 this morning. The driver remained at the scene and was questioned by police. The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Officials say he is now in stable condition. Turning to the fiery tractor Trailer Crash on the new jersey turnpike, the flames so intense the roadway had to be examined for damage. We have learned that one of the drivers is in serious condition at this hour. His name is dale miller of claremont, delaware. Investigators say miller was driving in the center lane of the turnpike near New Brunswick when we are told the other truck driven by Wheeler Brodie of the franklinton side swiped miller. Brodies truck was full of medical supplies including oxygen. When the semis crashed, the results were explosive. Some kind of suppressed gas bottles, propane, oxygen, im not sure. General assembly. I cant stress enough that the system will be pushed to capacity. A woman waiting months for a new kidney is recovering after a transplant but without her father by her side. Stacey said her dad said he would donate a kidney to her but couldnt because he suffered a heart attack. Her world was turned upside down last week when she found out her father was hit by a car and killed. That is when it was discovered she and her father were a match. I know my dad is really proud and happy that he was able to give me a second a life again. Knoxs father donated his other kidney and liver to help out other patients.
