Vaccines pouring back into Palm Beach County after Publix snafu
A week after Palm Beach County commissioners blasted Gov. Ron DeSantis for shutting off the county’s supply of coronavirus vaccines, it appears the spigot has been turned back on.
In addition to the 5,000 doses that were sent to the county health department this week, another 4,000 were delivered to its separate tax-financed health care district after commissioners complained that all of the county’s vaccines had been diverted to Publix.
In addition, another 6,000 are to be dispatched so vaccination sites can be set up in communities and other areas convenient to seniors, said Commissioner Melissa McKinlay.
