In our coverage on Friday (February 12) of the UK Publishers Association’s new UK Publishing Workforce report, it became apparent again, as it does each year, that one reason the United Kingdom’s book industry is ahead of the rest of the world’s is because of the leadership of the Publishers Association.
Of course, there are many instances in which a publisher’s own self-initiated program can have an impact in the effort, and we’re glad to have several of those to bring to you in coming days.
