Urban League Of Greater Chattanooga Celebrates MLK Day With Virtual Youth Empowerment Event And Day Of Service

The Urban League of Greater Chattanooga is marking the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. through a series of community outreach events planned for Monday. 
 
Urban League Young Professionals, a volunteer branch of the Urban League, is co-hosting the 2021 MLK Day Youth Empowerment Experience: The Past, Present & Future for Economic Justice. This youth-focused webinar will feature a multi-generational group of community leaders, panelists and influencers connecting the past, present and future of Dr.
King’s fight for social and economic justice. The event will also address topics such as wealth building, criminal justice and using the power of social media for influence. Participants will be entertained through live music and trivia and have a chance to win one of 20 savings accounts of $100.
