UMANG app: Centre invites bid to develop voice assistant application for e-government services
The application is supposed to convert speech into text and vice versa.

The Centre on Friday invited bids to develop a voice assistant application to deliver e-governance services to the common people.
It is to be noted that the chatbot will be similar to that of  Amazon’s Alexa or Google Assistant. The application is supposed to convert text into speech, and vice versa.
It is also required to interact with the public in multiple languages, collect and analyse data to give personalised experience to users.
