UISD will be moving to remote-only instruction and will be closing all campuses and offices following a closed-session discussion during an emergency conference meeting on Tuesday.
The decision follows closely behind LISD’s choice Monday as both districts will start temporary remote-only instruction on Monday.
Following the decision, UISD will work to inform the community including students, teachers and parents, however, parents are reminded that the move is temporary. On-campus instruction at both districts is expected to restart on Feb. 17.
