PEORIA, Ill. — Peoria Police said two people were injured in a shooting Friday night involving occupants of two vehicles.
Police found two people with gunshot wounds to their leg in the 2300 block of West Glen Ave. around 9:10 p.m.
The fight happened somewhere in the area of University Street and Forest Hill Avenue, and shots were fired as the vehicles left the scene, according to Public Information Officer Amy Dotson.
The shooting victims were found in one of the vehicles on Glen Avenue and taken to local hospitals, according to Dotson.
Their condition is unknown at this time.
