PROVIDENCE — Two people were stabbed Thursday at 2242 North Main Street. The injuries were not life-threatening, the police said.
Josh Betters, 33, had multiple stab wounds. He told the police that he was walking down North Main Street when he was attacked by a man. Betters said his assailant fled in a gray Caravan on North Main Street towards the Pawtucket line.
Officers then saw another man, Roy Connors, with a minor knife cut. Connors told them that Betters and Betters's girlfriend, Kimberly Gilbert, drove to the apparent building, and was attacked in the front entrance foyer by an unidentified man with a knife who later fled.
