Investigators say during the stop, deputies determined that the driver and front seat passenger, 57 year old Michael Scott and 34 year old Guadalupe Ayala-Armienta, had valid warrants and were arrested.
The sheriff's office says upon further investigation and interviews, deputies began to suspect criminal activity at the Travel Inn Motel. DCSO says a search warrant was obtained for room #226 and that during the search eleven pounds of methamphetamines and $37,133 in cash were found.
