By Julia Bertino May 28, 2021 (Douglas County, NE) Two men are arrested after 11 pounds of meth and more than $37,000 in cash are found in an Omaha motel room. The Douglas County Sheriff s Office says around 7:30 Wednesday night, the DCSO Crime Suppression Unit was conducting targeted enforcement in the area of 108th and L. The sheriff s office says during the operation, a vehicle with no plates was pulled over. Investigators say during the stop, deputies determined that the driver and front seat passenger, 57 year old Michael Scott and 34 year old Guadalupe Ayala-Armienta, had valid warrants and were arrested. The sheriff s office says upon further investigation and interviews, deputies began to suspect criminal activity at the Travel Inn Motel. DCSO says a search warrant was obtained for room #226 and that during the search eleven pounds of methamphetamines and $37,133 in cash were found. ....
By Jensen Rader, iHeartMedia Apr 27, 2021 The Roseville Police department is announcing the arrest of several people including the suspected head of a criminal organization after large amounts of cash, drugs and guns were seized according to a press release from the Roseville Police Department. The Roseville PD Crime Suppression Unit investigation started with the arrest of Bruce Anderson, 41 of Suisun City, and Candice Carty, 28 also from Suisun City, back in November of 2020. They were arrested after a traffic stop on Highway 65 near Pleasant Grove Boulevard. According to the Roseville Police, the CSU seized approx. $11,000 in cash, drugs packaged for sales, a loaded .40 caliber handgun and approx. $90,000 in jewelry. Two minor children were placed into protective custody with Placer County CPS. Anderson and Carty were booked into the South Placer County Jail on suspicion of: drugs for sale, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, child endangerment, and ....
