The trial for Councillor Jeff Peddle, who is facing voyeurism charges, is scheduled to begin on March 28, 2022 in Fort McMurray provincial court.
Peddle, who was first elected to the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo’s council in 2017, is accused of “publishing an intimate image” after allegedly “surreptitiously” recording a woman. The recording was allegedly made “in a place that gave rise to the reasonable expectation of privacy, when that person could reasonably be expected to be nude.”
