The studio version of “Smoke in a Bar,” which was written by Jeremy Bussey, Derek George and Tim Montana, will be released next Friday, March 5.
While he was in the Opry circle, Travis also performed some of his greatest hits, some of the songs that give me that 90’s country nostalgia like “I’m Gonna Be Somebody” and “It’s a Great Day to be Alive.” And Chris Janson also joined him for a rockin’ version of Waylon Jennings’ “Are You Sure Hank Done it This Way.”
From the first two songs, it seems like Travis hasn’t missed a beat with the sound of his music on this latest album – so now I’m just counting down the days until May 7 when we get that full album from Travis Tritt.
