There were no flights going in or out. Since then at about 3 00 this morning, that tower has been reopened. Still, though, we are seeing some delays and 134 cancellations and some cancellations. What you need to know is that crews have been out here working overnight to repair this. And since it is fixed, we are seeing some flights picking back up and starting to leave from here. So flights that i can tell you about right now that are delayed or canceled, the 8 15 to syracuse is canceled. 8 15 to fort myers is delayed. 8 15 to charlottesville is canceled. 8 21 to columbus is canceled. 8 30 to chicago is delayed. That is it for right now. But before you head out to the airport this morning, my best advice is to check online or to call the airport because we are seeing quite a few delays, cancellations and even some delayed flights coming in. Investigators say a man reported his 2012 Dodge Charger was stolen last night in Calvert County and later Police Spotted that car, chased the driver urge he crossed into Prince Georges County. The driver then slammed into a tree and took off on foot. When he got to Upper Marlboro. At this point no reports of injuries but theyre still looking for that person. Two ems workers are recovering this morning after being hit by a pickup truck on the beltway near river road. Investigators say the volunteer workers were helping people who had been in a crash when that pickup skidded across two lanes and hit them. The ems workers ended up in the hospital. Everyone involved in the incident is expected to be okay. Two men are now in custody in copenhagen accused of helping a gunman carry out two deadly attacks over the weekend. Two people were killed and five others were wounded. The gunman was later shot to death. One of the attacks happened at a cafe where a swedish cartoonist known for depicting the prophet mohamad as a dog was hosting an event. The Second Attack happened at a synagogue. A ceasefire in ukraine appears to be holding at least for now. But there are errors of some shell reports of some shelling and mortar fire around a railroad hub in eastern ukraine. The windchills unaffected by vehicles and thats what people feel but cars have no effect on that. Reporter its always good to give your car a little time before you hit the road. In the extreme cold weather, what i recommend is hang out a minute. Let the car run, warm up. Obviously you dont want to hit the ground running when its 17 below. Neither does your car. Have your mechanic look over a few things to make sure they are in good shape to last you for the rest of winter. Cool protection. Is my coolant adequate enough to sustain cold temperatures. And that caused some big time delays here last night canceling flights going in and going out and coming in here to Dulles Airport. The pipe has now been fixed. We are still seeing some delays. This is what you need to know. Crews were working all night trying to fix the pipe which we can only imagine was caused by the cold temperatures. Cold temperatures. We see water mains bursting and pipes in our homes bursting. Well, the airport is not immune. We have seen major delays. I just saw some people coming n. They said their flight is delayed an hour. Before you head to the airport, you should check with your airline and check on your flight to see if it is delayed because we are still seeing quite a few delays. Most of those delays leaving Dulles Airport are contained to frontier and united. There are less than a dozen flights i would say that are still impacted. Crews are still here working on the pipe even though it is fixed and they anticipate they hope to get the schedule back on track soon. It happened in the parking lot of the wings to go restaurant on garrisonville road yesterday afternoon. Investigators now say two vehicles were involved. People inside the vehicles fired shots at each other. One person who left his vehicle ended up dead. Two others were also shot. The names of the victims have not been released. And theres an intense manhunt this morning for a driver who shot a woman to death in a case of apparent road rage in las vegas. This is awful. Police say tammy myers was shot in the head saturday shortly after she gave her daughter a driving lesson. Myers husband says his wife got into a minor accident and had pulled over when three men in another car got into a confrontation. He says the suspects then followed his wife home and shot her to death. Police are looking for a silver compact car. Theyre going to take her off life support. Egypt has wasted no time when it comes to responding to a new horrific video from isis. Its unbelievable. It shows 21 egyptians being beheaded by isis militants. According to a russian cybersecurity company, there is an International Hacking ring thats stolen up to a billion dollars from banks around the world.
