Six head of cattle were killed today in an Early Morning crash in virginia. A tractortrailer traveling north on interstate 81 in frederick county, ran off the road and overturned in the median. Troopers helped round up the damaged trailer. The driver of that rig was treated at the scene for minor injuries and also charged with reckless driving. That was just one of 500 crashes. Virginia state Police Responded today. At least seven of them were in our area. Efforts to keep d. C. Streets cleared of snow is helped by the fact that its a federal holiday. New developments tonight in the case of a teachers aide, accused of molesting kids and producing child porn inside a Prince Georges CountyElementary School. Bruc reporter lesli, we know investigators have been working very hard to identify all of the victims, to find all the victims and to make the case against 22yearold deontae caraway. And potentially against anyone else who may have broken the law by failing to report their reasonable suspicions of him. We also know that in child porn cases, federal prosecutors often end up taking the lead. Reporter investigators say they now have evidence deontae caraway preyed on 16 children. And they believe there may be many more. Forcing those children to testify could be rough for them. But the federal courts offer a way out. Simply possessing child porn, on a phone manufactured out of state, gives the feds the right to charge him. And if he messaged pictures on the kicks social media app, as alleged, that, too, is possible media crime. Either way, the feds could potentially convict him on child porn charges, without any testimony from the children. And the mandatory minimum federal penalties run years longer than the likely sentences under state law. And thank you again for visiting our schools. Reporter principal Michelle Williams is on paid administrative leave and not talking. But lawyers for some of the alleged victims allege caraways abuse was common knowledge, that parents and teachers had expressed concern to the principal and that she refused to take any action, claiming there was no proof. The Principals Union says that she did. But this lawsuit says that when the uncle of one of the victims showed her the pictures on the childs phone, the principal told him to come back the next day.
