Bergen county municipal judge said there is enough evidence to believe governor Chris Christie failed to stop politically motivated lane closures in 2013, on the George Washington bridge, after learning of it. So closures were pay back for democratic north jersey mayor who refused to endorse christies reelection bid. Two former aids were convicted in november on federal charges related to the closures and they face sentencing later this month. What does this mean for the governor . This was actually, this occurred actually three months ago where this citizen bill brennan brought this complaint it then went up to the higher court. Higher court sent it back because of procedural problems they are trying to proceed again. It is all about probable cause is there probable cause to bring charges. This Municipal Court judge said yes, there is probable cause that maybe a crime was committed to allow this to go forward. So this is a criminal complaint. Yes. Can a private citizen bring a criminal complaint. Private citizen who is also interested in becoming governor. That is right, retired fire fighter who is interested in getting the democratic nomination for governor. But answer is yes, a private citizen can do this. Normally what happens is, you know, you are arrested, then charged, then Prosecutors Office decides whether they want to go forward to try to prosecute you. In this situation what is going to happies that Bergen County Prosecutors Office has to deciding whether they want to prosecute it. They are on record saying they do not want to prosecute it. While the Bergen County Prosecutors Office say they do not the want to prosecute it, remember a lot of those positions were appointed by christie. So a lot of people owe their jobs to christie. Now that is the political back story. Heres the deal though Bridget Kelly who was convicted in this case, she was tried with bill baroni who was convicted, and David Wildstein pled guilty. All of those three individual testified that christie you this about the lane closures. Right. I kind of say to myself is as a lawyer with that type of testimony already in the can, and already, you know, already been developed, why cant they , you know, prosecute Chris Christie and let a jury deciding whether he knew or didnt know. There is a lot of politics going on here. It is very interesting. This fellow bill baroni has called for a special prosecutor. He wants somebody independent to come in and make a decision whether to prosecute or not the, not people politically motivated. How does this judge rule on the criminal complaint second time around. It went up to the higher court is that typical. It is kind of a weird procedural situation here but higher court sent it back to the Municipal Court basically to say you need to look at it again. Yes. He looked it again and did the exact same thing found that there was probable cause and now Chris Christie has to on march 10th answer this criminal summons he will not appear in court. That is right. He wont appear in court but it is still going to procedurally move forward and lets see what happens. Christies office releasing a statement saying governors Constitutional Rights were violated. Well, i dont know about that. Lawyers make claims all the time. It says judge violated the law pure and simple. I dont think so. We will see what happens. How likely that the governor will face any prosecution. I think because of the politics here i think probably not the but it depend f there is a public outcry here and Bergen County Prosecutors Office will feel pressure. And what they did was they took, little babies, six months old and then a yearold and they did mri scans on them they found, with fairly significant accuracy, depending on measurements of the surface area of the brain, they could predict whether that baby would be developing autism. This is really important on a number of levels. One, it the is important because you can make a diagnosis early and we all know that the earlier the intervention, the better autistic children. That is number one. Number two i think it add another piece of data, into finding out what is going on, because what they looked at was basically, there is a wrapped increase this brain surface area, in children that will develop autism later on. So once it goes through trials do you think it could be a standard test. It might be. This is preliminary, but im very excited bit and there is something to it. You wont aloud in with your parental consent or Court Approval on get married. Do you think it is necessary. There is so few marriages that this applies to. I do think it is necessary to protect children and statistics that show getting married early, kid often dont finish high school, they often have higher rates of divorce and things of that nature. Were talking about a very few people. I think there were 50 couples that got harried last year in new jersey that this would even apply to. It seems to me that the legislature is legalitying this issue what is next . What other bans are they going to institute . Here we already have protectionness place. There are parental consent, you know, Court Approval. I dont know if it is these. Lets break this down, lets talk about parental consent. Who do we know it is parental consent and parental coercion. That is big concern. That is why this bill came about. Sometimes, some cultures, parents want children to get married for financial reasons, you know, to control their sexuality, things of that nature. So there is a concern that, you know, our children being coerced into marriage. I think this applies to so few couples. New jersey would be on the cutting edge of this issue because it would be first state to institute a complete ban like this. So, in your mind what could we dough if it is going too far do you think. It may go too far. There are row texts that can be put in place to control the process. So that there can be interviews, perhaps with the children to really assess whether they are voluntarily getting married. An analysis of whether this is something that the child wants , or is this something that is coming from the parents. I mean, that would be difficult to discern sometimes children often listen to their parents and feel very strongly about doing getting parental approval. Where are fine lines here. You talk about under 16 need judicial approval. Right. What about when it comes to statutory rape and laws involving children. Sure, that is a concern. If you talk about that huge age difference you have a issue of statutory rape for young girls especially and for boys. It can happen either way. So those laws are out there to protect children as well. So, like i said i think that this issue is so narrow, it is so, up say small issue that again, you know, i dont think it is quite necessary but maybe some greater protections are needed. If it does pass will we see any complications or challenge s do you think. I think if people want to get married at a young age they will move out of state and go to another state that has more lenient laws. It is not a ban nationwide, so certainly you can find a place that will allow you to marry if you really wanted to get married. We will see where this goes sixteen to 17, parental consent, few exceptions, younger then 16, a judge needs to get involved. You say not needed. I dont think it is needed but great the to protect children. How could you challenge that. So anything that helps children and protects them is a good thing. Visual effects in the trailer seem like a video game but when you are watching the film , director of this movie is a phenomenal film maker, he made a movie called hero in the early 2,000. Incredible visionary. Idea behind it with matt damon is detending the great wall of china from these mythical creatures, fantasy action film visually the actual movie itself looks cool because they finished the visual effects and looks very well done in the film. They built a 1 kilometer wall to recreate that. It makes it real thick as it can be considering the mythical creature quality as it is to it but problem with the film is that matt diamond his accent changes in almost every scene and the script is really, really bad. And one thing i dont like about movies sometimes is when the script is so over explanatory to the audience, that it is trying to explain things that we already can sianni understand ourselves. They are treating us like were stupid kind of. I find that to be a little will ridiculous at times. Overall it is visually cool, but the script is bad, so it is a two and a half out of five. I liked half, other half i thought was ridiculous. I did speak to matt damon about a cool scene where he fires three arrows and it catches a bowl. This scene in the trailer and intrigued me at first, and he work with the really cool speed archer on how to do that but i was blown away, to hear what actually occurred on set when he filmed that scene, watch this. He said it takes about a year for a second if you want to shave off a second it will take you a year of doing nothing but practicing. So, that is what we realized arrows will be cgi.
