Four men leaving a rhawnhurst restaurant one in wheelchair, another guy pushing him. A third man goes to this van. They get in and seconds later theres a burst of gunfire coming from the van. This guy decides hes just going to fire off six or eight shots into the air with total disregard and recklessness for the public. It was just rapid gunfire but that was it. Reporter amanda and her fiance brian, heard the gunfire from their home a block away. They immediately thought about their baby daughter sleeping in a bedroom nearby. Its scary. I have a six move old baby, you know, what goes up must come down. What if they fired it that way and it wept through my window and struck my child. I dont want my daughter in this situation. A fight after school outside of south Philadelphia High School sent a 17yearold girl here still being cared for here at Jefferson Hospital. I just spoke with her parents seconds ago. They say she is still in the hospital. Tonight after being stabbed three times once in the face and a fellow student is now arrested for that stabbing. Philadelphia Police Detectives were collecting evidence off the 2,000 block of whats street just across the street from south Philadelphia High School. School Officials Say two female students got into a fight that spilled outside after school was dismissed. On the pavement scissors they believe were used in the attack. Its horrible. I mean to meets horrible. Reporter scott walks his three kids past the school every day. Although hes not surprised at the violence in school, he says scenes like these make him worry for his own kids. Back in the day when we was growing up, the whole neighborhood watched us. Prosecutors wheeled reams of case files. We learned today, 39 shots were fired that night at the game stop. Officer wilson was struck six times including in the eye. Eight, nine, 10 00 oclock still looking at clouds and showers especially south and east. So the heaviest rain is certainly going to be down the shore with this particular system. Maybe a quarter of an inch a little more around philadelphia but Lehigh Valley poconos really going to miss out on this disturbance. Buts as you move down the shore likely wildwood a half an inch or more of rainfall so the highest amounts will be south and east but look at the temperatures. Theyll be in the upper 50s. Low 60s. Well keep the clouds around. And once again really the second half of the day after lunch time the best chance for that rainfall to start moving in.
