Then once aget into central caribbean thats when we start to see some of the long range computer models starting to a make different turns and waves and different Little Things with this. So thats where we have to start to watch this as we get into the first part of next week. Now, this is still a long range need lot more information to plug into computer models. So as we go through next several days well start to fine tune this to see is this move more towards the north does it turn and head back out to sea. Does it get closer to us . Hurricane recognizance plane flying out to system as we speak. And there will be investigating this throughout afternoon. And just going by the satellite view on this, really looks l this is quite likely already a Tropical Storm. A Tropical Storm would named matthew. You can certainly tell some good spin to this system. Youre seeing that out flow with clouds kind of fanning out on that northern side of this system. Sop they will get out there, later on this afternoon, probably within the next hour and then they will start to send back a lot of information from this as we go through the afternoon. Well tracking this throughout models general idea as we go through the next couple of days they stay in pretty good agreement depending on which model you look like all in very good agreement in shortterm. Basically, working its way on to the west. That makes sense. Its working its way to the west right down about 20 miles an hour. Its a fast moving system. So when its moving fast, you typically didnt dont see a turn with it continues toic basically move on on that straight line. Once it gets into central caribbean. Thats when you start differences in computer models because weve got this trough which is working its way down across the gulf of mexico in southeast. Thats going to tend to pick this system up. The idea the big question is, does this turn and move out over the atlantic . Does it move further to the west . Thats something we will have to fine tune as we go through the next several days really going to take some time to really find tune this forecast. Dont get hung up on one different computer model lot of different computer models out there but not one single time. Now skytower radar, a little more quiet than what we saw yesterday. You can see some storms out into the gulf of mexico. Weve got some scattered showers starting to develop. And work its way on to the east. Right along i75. So our overall rain chance a bit lower for today. Here in tampa right now, were at 86. Brandon has a 90. Over in Pinellas Park currently 88. Palm harbor 87. Degrees. Brooksville 84. Weeki wachee has an 87 head down to sarasota currently 87. And bartow currently checks in at 84 degrees. So the view across the state, you do see more moisture around. So well keep rain chances in over the next couple of days. Weve got a cold front to our north. That will slowly sing down over the state as we go through next couple of days. Not going to bring cooler temperatures but it will tend to dry atmosphere out and drop that humidity at least for a time as we get into friday and saturday. For today look for few scattered clouds few storms working into then for tonight, overnight low of 76 degrees. We look for more scattered showers and thunderstorms around for tomorrow. But notice on the sevenday forecast, as we head towards the end of week you dont see it much cooler but it dries out until we drop that humidity for a short time on friday and saturday. Students robles Park Elementary School in tampa are lining up for a chance at a new literary adventure. And hundreds of gently used books are up for grabs. Thanks to fifth graders chase hartman and vanessa, i love, love, love to help kids. And what better way to do both than just run your own book company and help donate thousands of books to kids all over the state. Mary bryant Elementary Students collected these books as part of their venture they call read, repeat. When they read them they might want to give it to somebody else. Somebody is reading. After learning many kids in their community didnt have at means to buy their own books. I have had to be a girly girl in just ten days they wanted to turn the page. By approaching people and businesses who were looking to dispose of additional books. I think that they are very nice to go out and get all of these book to donate to us. Students receiving the books say its opened a new chapter. It when im in school. They even built website so donations can continue to grow. I hope they get happiness and adventure out of them because books help inspire kids to do great things. And great things help the world. Wow. That was smart for such a young man. And that is war oh kelly ring reporting. Well a military vet returns from overseas and reunited with his perry was deployed to iraq for fin months he didnt want to give you up his best friend zusi. He found a dog that foster dogs. Arizona Humane Society project active duty. Just going to give him up hes such a good dog. On top of that when i did my research i found his foster parents. Many of foster parents are vets themselves. And the hardest thing they say giving back the dog that they bonded with but when they see returning soldier and dog reunited it is all worth it. Thats a great program. Because that would comfort to returning sold cher. That would to be reunite with his best friend. Love that. Fantastic i know youre watching the possible Tropical Storm out there. But today in terms of our weather maybe some storms popping up .
