jordannian national thought he had parked a truck full of explosives in a parking garage underneath a skyscraper. he used his cell phone to detonate the bomb but it turns out he bought duds from undercover agents. he is in jail charged with trying to use a weapons of mass destruction. on wednesday, a man was arrested in a similar plot trying to set off what he thought was a bomb outside of a building in springfield being illinois. authorities say michael fenton idolized american born taliban soldier john walker lind. police say this is not related to the alleged plot in dallas. a toror threat hitting close to home. authorities say they stopped a potential attack on quantico marine base in virginia. two men were arrested back in july. authorities say they had maps of the base and were planning an attack. they even had gone on training expedestrian i gos in rural north carolina weekd before their arrest. the fbi seized two dozen guns, more than 2700 rounds of ammunition from boyd's home. suspects face weapons charges and conspiracy to kill military personnel. the dallas, springfield and quantico plots all come as there are major new charges in another terror probe. mid-atlantic. cloudy conditions here as well. that moisture plume isn't going to go anywhere. you have to deal with humidity as we move through into the forecast period as well over the course of the next day or so. let's go to our wther maps. as far as current conditions are concerned, at national airport being we've got 69 degrees foour temperature. the humidity at 70%. it is a little improvement from yesterday. we were at 90%. northeasterly wind flow 14 miles per hour. it is 65 at baltimore. 70 at dulles. 75 at fredericksburg and 66 at frederick. we dealt with that cold front that moved its way to the south. the problem is it is stalling out so that is causing us to be in this unsettled weather pattern. it will move its way to the north. we have a low pressure system moving in from the central portion of the country. that will set us up for a weekend that will have us very unsettled with rainfall throughout the course of -- off and on throughout mainly saturday with just a little bit more on sunday. mild conditioned for today though. temperatures into the 70s and we'll see seams pretty much sticking around that as we head through into the course of the weekend. >> if
