>> and there is a lost speculation. i am not so sure there is. if they had this immunity, the thing is whether this is a victory for presume a it's in january and in february, iraq has problems and there are attacks in iraq and that is going to look at the white house and some in the administration wanted to have some remaining troops so there is order. i am not sure there is a ken but some people are -- there is a connection but some people are saying yeah. >> how would this administration capitalize on the occupy wall street domestic protests that have been going on? is there any way for this white house to translate this foreign policy on to the domestic side where their troubles are there? >> obviously, very difficult. they have to turn the economy around. if they're able to do that, luck at the polls, people like how president obama is dealing with the foreign policy, the death of bin laden, ghadafi, iraq. the good thing for the president on the occupy wall street is that do you hear anymore problems from the left? remember, months ago, liberals were furious with the white house and you're not hearing that as much. the occupy wall street fills that void, i think. >> the -- fills that void. >> we appreciate you coming down in&giving mike newmans is. >> and we're told there are 1.6 million pieces of equipment of u.s. forces. it will all have to be out of iraq. and thank you, as for the men and women who served in iraq, they're speaking out about the president's announcement. here's reaction from one soldier who spent two years there. >> reporter: henry swan has been out of iraq the better part of six years now. it's not hard for him to imagine how the service men and women stationed there are feeling today. >> it's got to be shockings, probably. release of different emotions and definitely happy to go home and see the families and their wives and husbands and children. >> reporter: he said the time in iraq, although served in the relative safety of the green zone, was duty that kept him on edge. >> your stress levels were high and you can get, there are times when you can get depressed and sad and that type of thing, you know, you join together with your fellow soldiers, you become a family and you get through it. >> a part of the stress came from knowing two of his younger brothers were in iraq at the same time. both of them marines, stationed in falucia. >> -- falugia. >> i was not able to keep in contact with them but a couple of marines i knew them and they were able to pass different messages to them. to make sure that were doing okay and to be careful. >> henry swan was a sergeant in the average reserves and a few of his time spent in iraq was not in vain. >> do i believe that we accomplished anything?
