The concerned students and parents are saying that these signs are politically bias which they contend violates school policy, and they say it shows a double standard. These students believe that these were belief their belief on the wall and wouldnt be allowed in the first place a lot of my classmates thought this was showing inherent political bias forwarding a certain set of beliefs that not everyone at the school would believe in. And this is kind of keeping our thoughts suppressing. Some people here dont feel like they can speak out in general in school and things like this really oppress people and really make them feel dont have a voice the whole point was to be inclusive but at the end of the day, politically, it shuts down a shortest different set of beliefs than the people who are putting them up. Fox 5 did reach out to the school bus several time but we never heard back. However, we did obtain copies of some letters that were written by the teachers that put up those signs, addressed to the parents of those concerned. Police were called and a Fairfax CountyPolice Officer ended up using his taser on him down the street. We filed an opposition to that motion claiming that we in fact did allege enough facts to proceed. They rubber stamped this and said this is totally compliant with our policies. That is the basis for the countys liability. Theyre after the fact ratification and endorsement of his actions.
