Are they getting any new details on this . Reporter yeah, absolutely. This was a boyfriend and a girlfriend that lived inside of this home. Officers tell me these people barged in through the front door that you can see there. But the good news is officers say they dont know why this couple was targeted but they do not believe that anybody else who lives in this neighborhood is at risk. People should not worry that their home will be the next neighborhood is very dark and it is just now starting to lighten up. Police tell us two men forced their way into that front door and demanded jewelry and other valuables from the people inside. The suspect brought zip ties with them and used them to tie up the two victims. Those people were able to free themselves from the zip ties and call 911. They were not hurt. Suspects took off. Officers are searching for them right now. Police officers out here canvassed this entire neighborhood and knocked on every single door. They say they did not get a single tip. People in east tampa finally have a traffic lights along hillsborough avenue after years of complaints. The light went up after several cross the busy street. 10 News Reporter emerald morrow is live along hillsborough avenue. Many people said this light how been in place a long time ago. Reporter thats right. Look at this street you can see all kinds of cars going back and fort. It is very, very busy. Imagine having your child try to cross this street without the light there. The children have to duck and dodge and try to get through traffic which is very, very dangerous. According to the Tampa Tribune, fdot spent 350,000 to get the light in place so that students can cross safely without fearing for their life. If it had been in place any sooner perhaps we would not have had so many young people hurt or even killed. The tribune is also reporting that the new light will also come with push button crossing signals, parked sidewalks and a safe spot in the middle of the road. Fdot told us last year it hoped to have the light up by the end of the year but had to work with the city to get the right if you take a look youll see right now that the light is installed. However, it is not fully functional. The Tampa Tribune is reporting also that it is going to start flashing yellow first next week before it becomes fully functional the week after that. A North Carolina couple is safe today after a marine ran into their burning home to save them. House was rubble when he saw a man sitting against debris with fire raging around him. I wanted to get them out. That man and his wife were badly burned but they only cared about how the other was doing. After serving four years in the military he does not consider himself a hero.
