Its absolutely a problem, and its growing. The problem is, we havent been able to have any real advances in Early Detection over the past 40 years. So, yes, 22,000 women in this country will be diagnosed, about 14,000 women will die. So we need to do more to find out new ways to treat them and to find that cancer early on. And youre trying to bring awareness strength by numbers. Essentially. With all of these chefs coming together. Talk about the event. This is the turn up the heat gala and im trying to help chef amy. We have over 50 female chefs and mixologists at the Ronald Reagan building tomorrow night. Theres going to be 450plus guests. Wow. Thats really impressive. And chef amy, what are we cooking here . Were not letting anything burn. No, no, no. Thank you, chad. I appreciate you helping me out. So were making a piadini, an italian flat bread and cooking a little bit of olive oil. Its really simple. Ill be doing this tomorrow night and essentially panfry it and put cheese on it, a sheeps milk cheese. And basically this is something that, you can do at home. You have a little recipe for the flat bread. And if you like, i can provide it. We have mustard greens. Were collaborating with d. C. Urban greens, a farm in d. C. And they are growing things for us, which im super excited about. These are mustard greens from them. They have a beautiful spicy herbaceous element. And it really counter acts with the cheese. Think italian cream cheese. Wow, that sounds decadent. And youre adding a little lemon. Little fresh lemon and olive oil. And so this is a good brunch item, lunch item, advertiser for dinner. And you can obviously mix and match ingredients as you like. Its an italian snack. And a variety of different types of foods, right . Things like it will be endless. Savors, sweet, mixologists and allfemale chefs from across the region. So it will be a terrific event to raise awareness. So i always think of food as the kind of great collaborator that brings people together, and so i think for this event we have all like, we mentioned allwomen chefs, but we are great collaborators, women. And women get together to do anything. Usually it gets done. And so all these people are my friends and colleagues i have known for many, many years. And we always look forward to this event.
