That is tapering off a little bit. Well widen the view out and you can see we havent had much rain around raleigh, durham, chapel hill. By the time we get lunchtime, well see some rain. The rain will intensify. We do have a Flash Flood Watch in effect for our viewing area. The rain begins to taper off on saturday. As we look at that road weather index, just underscoring what you showed us on the radar. A lot of us on the Southern Side of our viewing area are seeing wet conditions and that spreads to the north. Well see it here in the triangle, later this afternoon and evening commute could be rather messy. Lets take a look at the northbound durham freeway. Earlier crash. They have the tow truck on the scene but we are still seeing the backups. You might consider using 55 as your alternate route.
