More than 100,000 people were left without power. Chicago Ohare Airport shut down for hours. Airlines, cancelling more than 250 flights monday night. They just canceled the second no, third flight. In iowa, one person killed in a collapsed building in the town of fairfax. Oh, my god. Reporter watch here in cedar rapids, 80mileperhour winds ripped the tarp over Veterans Memorial stadium. Accuweather meteorologist stef davis has the latest. The threat for Severe Weather will continue to push east for our tuesday, into the ohio valley and western pennsylvania. Major cities to be impacted include pittsburgh, cincinnati and cleveland. Major threats include blinding downpours, wind gusts and hail. Do be cautious for travel delays. Oscar pistorius returns to a courtroom this morning a day after it was revealed that he was not mentally ill when he killed his girlfriend. A 30day assessment at a Psychiatric Hospital found that pistorius was able to distinguish between right and wrong at the time of the shooting. If they had concluded he was suffering a mental disorder, the trial could have ended abruptly. A number of suspects will be questioned in portugal in connection with the disappearance of madeleine mccann. Madeleine was 3 years old when she vanished in 2007 vacationing with her parents. Eight suspects were identified by scotland yard. But portuguese officers are expected to do the questioning. The u. S. Navy will have its first female fourstar admiral.
