The orange glow of the fire and the thick smoke could be scene from the roof of the netherlands apartments on Chestnut Street. The fire erupted at 1 00 a. M. More than 100 people were foyersed from the building. No injuries were forced from the buildings. No injuries were reported. The building is made up of 6 sections. Fire Officials Say they were able to contain the blaze to one floor. 28 fire officials responded along with 100 firefighters. The resident were taken to the kato school on the 4500 block of ludlow street. Theres damage to the buildings with smoke and water damage on the other floors. Residents of the building should be let back in later today. Philadelphia fire commissioner sang the praises of the firefighters who kept control of the fire. T team went into rescue the hostages, he was killed during a shootout with the officers. Orange glow of fire and thick smoke could be seen from the apartments on Chestnut Street. The fire erupted at 9 00 a. M. More than 100 people were forced from the building. No injuries were reported. The fire went to threealarms before firefighters were able to bring it under control. The building was made up of 6 sections. Fire officials contained the building to the 4th floor of the building. 28 fire vehicles responded along with 100 firefighters. The residents who had to evacuate were taken to the kato school on ludlow street. Theres damage of smoke and water on the other floors. Residents should be allowed back in today.
