Theyre all over the roadway. Apparently it smells awful and the southbound lanes of highway one are still closed because of this colossal mess. Come down 13, not highway one as you travel through smyrna this morning. On the big picture a little bit of good news in hunting park. North broad street is reopened now at pike street there by how sam. Fire crews off to the side. No big issues so far this morning on 95 or the schuylkill. No big delays and the vine street expressway has reopened as well but we are watching a disabled vehicle just in in lower moreland. Its byberry road at Huntington Pike there by the United Methodist church. No big issues traveling westbound on the pennsylvania turnpike. Couple work zones eastbound but westbound youre looking good. And we still have some construction going until 6 00 this morning for the next half hour at 422 and Armand Hammer boulevard. Theyre milling and paving that interchange there. So theyll clear out in the next half hour but then return at 9 00 this morning to continue their work. So watch out for the crews out there until 6 oclock. Flames tore through a vacant house in the citys hunting park section forcing neighbors to evacuate. It broke out at broad and west pike streets just before 1 30 this morning. A man living next door with his grandfather said he woke up to firefighters and Police Telling him to get out right away. He didnt even have time to put on his clothes. Turned around and looked up and i looked at the fire and i dont have no clothes on. And i was like i wanted to go back but i aint have nothing on, nothing, but, you know, i came out here anyway. Neighbors helped that fire victim cover up in the cold. No injuries were reported. Were learning more about a frightening Home Invasion robbery in the citys lawncrest section. The attackers held a blind man at gunpoint then got away. Action News Reporter Katherine Scott is live where it happened on the 1300 block of hellerman street. Katherine. Reporter matt and police say the couple is in their 40s. They were inside the home when this happened. Thankfully their children were across the street at the time. Police say the husband has medical issues and is legally blind. This happened last evening here on the 1300 block of hellerman in lawncrest around 7 45. Police say two men entered the house through an unlocked front door. One of the suspects was armed with a handgun. The wife had been on the couch in the living room and ran to her husband who was sitting in the dining room with his own handgun next to him on the table. The suspect put the handgun to the husbands neck and told him not to move or he would be should there and killed. They made off with 275 and the victims gun. In addition to stealing cash these two perpetrators have an additional gun that they stole from the family. The family even showed police the paperwork for the gun that was recently purchased. Reporter and police say the whole thing was caught on Home Security footage so they are reviewing that footage and hopeful that will help in this investigation. They say a 31yearold man was in the parking lot monday evening when two men walked up and punched him knocking him to the ground. A witness told police the men continued to punch and kick the victim then ran off. The victim suffered cuts bruises and swelling to his head. Police say they are reviewing the librarys surveillance cameras. A community is still coming to grips with a tragic triple shooting in philadelphia. A crowd filled the basketball courts in mayfair last night to remember 17yearold quantico brunson moton. He was killed and two other young men were shot on the 3100 block of sterling street monday night. Police are looking for the men in a white car who pulled up to the victims outside a Grocery Store before the shooter opened fire. A Youth Football Team has been sidelined by vandals. Someone dug up the field of the camden raiders by spinning the wheels of their truck through the grass and dirt. Police say surveillance cameras at the Community Center might have captured the person who did this. The city he is looking into repairs but say it could take a week or longer. New Jersey Governor Chris Christie admits that he is upset by the loudoun trump recording. However, he still supports the gop nominee. Trump unleashed a twitter tirade yesterday against other republicans who are no longer aligned with the campaign. Trump called House Speaker paul ryan weak and ineffective. We advance this to thursday and we look at 1 30 in the afternoon and you see that front kind of coming through with some showers. This is in the Lehigh Valley at 1 30. We watch the i95 corridor. Now, this model run has a few showers hitting the area and then kind of falling apart were it hits south jersey. The last model run had it falling apart before it hit philadelphia so tomorrow afternoon, chance for a shower. Thats the only weather that weve got concerns with. We continue to watch hurricane nicole. Early this morning the 5 00 a. M. Update it and creased to a category two hurricane. We now have 100 miles an hour sustained winds. Look at the eye. You can really start to clearly see it. Pretty well defined eye as this hurricane gets more compact and actually increases. It increased not only in its strength but in its forward speed. Its going to hit bermuda tomorrow as at least a category two hurricane then move out to sea. Lets look at your sevenday forecast. A dentist shot a man who police say was exposing himself to patients at a houston dental office. Police say the man walked any other Office Yesterday exposed himself and then chased the dentist around the office. The two men ended up outside where the dentist pointed a gun at the man. Police say the man then charged at the dentist so the dentist shot him. Man was wounded in stomach and underwent surgery at the hospital. No word on his condition. Officials in oklahoma say the unarmed man who was shot and killed by a Tulsa Police Officer last month was hallucinating on pcp.
