In health check today at 4 00 the fda has approved the first drug for Bladder Cancer which harnesses the power of the bodys immune s it blocks a protein in many tumors that deactivates the bodys disease fighting t cells. The t cells then hunter down and destroy the cancer cells. The drug was given conditional approval based on promising early results. Full approval could be about a year or two away. Ridge avenue or lancaster avenue some possible alternates. This is the vine street expressway. That crash that we had on the westbound side by broad street is pushed off to the side. But the heavy delays linger here in both directions by 76 the schuylkill expressway. And still slow going on 95 southbound as you enter the worked here at cottman but a little bit better than last time because that broken down cement truck has been cleared out of the way. So the lanes are opened, its just a little heavy as you head towards center city on the southbound side of 95. Had a crash by Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary at city and lancaster but that cleared out. At argyle and wynnewood watch out for an accident. It was one on the pennsylvania turnpike just like yesterday afternoon eastbound side by norristown. Its off to the side now but youre still being treated to 10 Miles Per Hour. Schuylkill eastbound not a whole lot better at 11 Miles Per Hour and east whiteland Chester County watch out for a crash along 401 at bacton hill road. What we are tracking and what we are watching, two pieces of energy right now, theres an area of low pressure just to the south of cincinnati and theres also an area of lope low pressure forming just off the coast of georgian the carolinas. This will work its way up the eastern seaboard and take over and with that we have the moisture on the move. The call from accuweather, however, over the next 12 hours stars early then turning cloudy as that moisture gets closer to our regionally well drop down to 53 in the suburbs and 56 in philadelphia for the overnight low. Heres future tracker six as we time out the moisture for the start of our weekend. 8 oclock in the morning its mostly cloudy. You notice those showers getting closer to us. South and west of lancaster approaching dover as well. As we get into 11 oclock tomorrow morning make sure you have the wet weather gear with you because the moisture will be increasing as the day wears on. The heaviest pocket you could see by 2 oclock in the afternoon in philadelphia and areas to the south as well for south jersey and also into delaware. The tail end of the day you could see 5 oclock in the evening the heaviest starting to push out of our region and moving to the north and east. By 8 30 tomorrow evening we just have some lingering moisture overhead. Well break it down region by region for you with the rainfall. In our northwest suburbs you could find anywhere from a half inch to an inch of precipitation. Right along that 95 corridor threequarters of an inch to about an inch and a quarters worth. Delaware, south jersey depending on the area of low pressure and how it tracks, anywhere from an inch to an inch and a half and locally higher amounts than that. This really sets us up for an unsettled pattern tomorrow and then right through sunday into tuesday, we essentially have this trough of low pressure thats cut off from the main jet stream. So we have showers, pockets of sunshine and then a few popup showers as we go throughout the day sunday monday into tuesday before the pattern breaks.
