The action cam was on shore road in absecon where we saw cars driving right through that high water. And we found crews setting up cones to partially block off part of the black horse pike in Egg Harbor Township because of all that flooding. High tide will be just after 8 oclock tonight. We are following developing news at this hour. Maryland police have a suspect in custody following three shootings that left three dead and three injured. Police say 62yearold Eulalio Tordil shot and killed a man outside the Westfield Montgomery mall in bethesda this morning. Two others were shot when they ran to help and one remains in critical condition. Police say 30 minutes later tordil shot and killed a woman at a Grocery Store about 5 miles away. Investigators say he is an employee of the federal protective service which provides security at federal properties. He was put on administrative duties in march after protective order was issued against him. He has since been taken to our headquarters for further questioning. Investigators say the shooting spree began last night when tordil shot and killed his estranged wife outside of a high school in beltsville, maryland. Another parent was also shot but is expected to survive. A woman is dead after a crash throwed a hit and run this morning in Gloucester County. Police say she crashed her own car but then was hit after she got out of the wreckage. Action News Reporter gray hall live in glassboro this afternoon. Police are still looking for the driver of that second vehicle right now. Reporter youre absolutely right, brian. Troopers right now are reviewing highway cameras. The victim lived in this apartment complex behind me. No one there wanted to talk on camera but off camera everyone tells me they are heartbroken. New Jersey State Police are investigating an Early Morning crash that killed 32yearold Annabel Aponte of glassboro new jersey. Upon arrival we observed an unresponsive female in the left lane of highway 55. That female has been identified and the investigation is ongoing as to how she ended up in the road. Reporter neighbors confirm aponte lived in this apartment complex in glassboro. They say she was well known and loved by everyone. Officers say she hit a tree around 5 30 friday morning got out of her car to look for some help and was hit and killed by another car. We do know there was a second vehicle involved. That vehicle has been identified and everything outside of that is still under investigation. Reporter police have not released the make and model of the other vehicle involved in this deadly crash. It is also not clear what caused aponte to run off the road and crash. Troopers say if you are ever involved in an accident on a busy highway you have to use extreme caution. Definitely stay in your vehicle if at all possible get to the shoulders if you break down and are blocking a lane of traffic do the best you can to at least get to a shoulder and safest bet is to stay in your vehicle with your flashers on. Anything outside on the road is extremely dangerous. Reporter and tonight troopers are urging anyone with information to come forward. Meanwhile three people are dead after a car crashed into a group of parked cars and then burst into flames early this morning in bethlehem. It happened around 1 15 near willow park road and first street. Police say the driver was speeding at the time and hit three parked cars. The vehicle then caught fire. One man was able to get out. Hes being treated for severe burns this afternoon. Police found three other victims inside the burning car. So far, though, they have not identified them. Police are still trying to track down the man who shot at another driver in what investigators are calling a case of road rage on the blue route. Chad pradelli is working the story live at the State Police Barracks in Wynnefield Heights with the latest on the search for the shooter. Chad. Reporter sharrie, last check investigators were scouring the area in West Conshohocken looking for Surveillance Video of the vehicle in question and following up on leads tying to find the man wanted for shooting at a fellow motorist. State police are looking for a man who looks like this. Accused of pulling a gun on a busy blue route and firing a shot at a fellow motorist. It missed the intended victim but hit the mitsubishi lancer. The bullet lodged in a center console. Wed like people to take a closer look at this sketch cause the witness told our friends that he has some scarring on the right side of his face and also that his face is pocked on both sides. Reporter investigators say the suspect was driving a dark blue Lincoln Town Car similar to this tinted windows and a decal. Lincoln decal is fairly unique. It has a silver or chrome lincoln emblem with a red backdrop so that what im told is an after market emblem. Reporter the brazen incident happened on the blue route in West Conshohocken around 3 00 p. M. After firing the shot, the suspect got up the highway. Police say both drivers were driving aggressively but the intended victim is cooperating fully. We cant have people reacting in this manner to a vehicle code violation or any other time. Its just too dangerous. The highways are dangerous enough let alone introducing a gun to it. Reporter and police really want you to take a look or keep a look out for that Lincoln Town Car and in particular that decal that unique decal with the red backdrop. On the turnpike weve had accidents in both directions. Still one eastbound by norristown moved to the shoulder but speeds in the 20s. Well introduce you to their local woman who was just honored nationally as the mother of the year. Mass evacuations continues the canada today as firefighters continues to battle a large wildfire. 88,000 people have been ordered to evacuate alberta. The wildfire has destroyed more than 1600 homes and buildings there. More than 1100 firefighters are working around the clock to stop these flames but they say what they really need is rain. So far no deaths or injuries have been reported. The fbi is reportedly getting ready to interview democratic president ial candidate Hillary Clinton about her emails. Sources tell abc news federal investigators will ask clinton for a sitdown in the next couple of days and the Clinton Campaign has indicated that she is willing to answer their questions. At issue here is whether any Sensitive Information was miss handled when clinton used a private email server as secretary of state. All right, alicia, a local family is fighting to get their child back. Authorities suspect abuse but the parents say a rare medical condition is to blame. Heres Investigative Reporter wendy saltzman. Reporter a three month old infant ripped from his parents home. Local doctors say he suffered near two dozen fractures while in their care. He had multiple fractures all throughout his body from the ribs, to the fingers. I was baffled because i didnt understand how he could have so many fractures. Reporter could a rare genetic disorder combined with a nutrient deficiency from nursing be to blame. I wanted to prove its not child abuse. I wanted to prove theres an explanation. All right, do you want to be about the side this weekend. Especially the second half of the weekend but you dont want to be on a boat today on the water whatsoever, very choppy very wet. As we look at storm tracker6 live double scan around the region we have mist and drizzle especially west of the city and a bit of a batch towards dover as well as vineland. As we close in closer were taking a look at the rainfall estimates with double scan live radar and our dual Pole Technology to get a clearer picture as to how much rain is falling where you live, in and around pottstown 1. 8inches, wilmington 1. 3. Near salem you see that little stripe of yellow over 2inches of rain throughout the day today and some of southern new jersey near glassboro about an inch and half. So, it was a very decent soaking no matter where you are but now were just dealing with those very light showers. And what a difference. Were in this omega block as we talked about which is really a stuck pattern in the atmosphere. We were in the good side of the omega black on april 17th to the 26th. Thats when we had that 10day stretch of very warm weather with temperatures 6 degrees above normal and a lack of precipitation. Now were in a 10day stretch that started on april 27th where its been very cold, 6 degrees below normal with a healthy amount of rain in philadelphia, over 2inches in this 10day period. We had to make up some ground but it goes to show you you can be on the good side of a stuck pattern or the bad side and were kind of evened out at this point. As we look at temperatures, only in the low 50s across much of the area. 52, 53, 54 degrees. Visibility is down in and around philadelphia and Montgomery County, Delaware County about a mile and a half visibility, low clouds with that mist but where were stopping some of the rain along the shore communities you can see how those visibilities really jump up to nine to 10 miles. Low pressure is now inland and its really starting to fall apart. You dont see those bright colors on the radar anymore but its going to take some time to kind of wind this low pressure down so the clouds are not going to immediately escape here as we go into the beginning of the weekend. For tonight mist, drizzle, breezy and raw with temperatures in the upper 40s pretty much everywhere from the Lehigh Valley to the shore. We look at future tracker6. 9 oclock tomorrow morning with that low pressure still trying to break down, a lot of clouds, still some scattered showers or mist around. As we get into saturday afternoon, we start to follow the clouds. The clouds will start to fall apart. There may be some peeks of sun, still a scattered shower but the brighter of the two days definitely coming in on sunday for mothers day just in time. Quickly turning sunny here, a breezy wind out of the northwest with temperatures by the afternoon at 70 degrees. Look at that four day at 4 00 forecast. Its much better. As we look at a few scattered showers, a lot of clouds tomorrow, 66 but maybe a few peeks of sun but the sun returns on mothers day, again if you have outdoor plans if youre going to wear a hat you may want to rethink it because the winds will be gusting near 30 and then monday pleasant, mild, 72 and warmer, 78 degrees as we go into tuesday of next week so finally no more salt into this open wound. They gave us surveillance image the suspect from inside the Wells Fargo Branch on cuthbert boulevard in Haddon Township they said the man walked in around 2 30 yesterday afternoon and handed the teller a note demanding money. He took the cash and then ran off. He never showed a weapon and no one was hurt here but police want anyone who might recognize this man to please call them right away. The u. S. Economy added 160,000 jobs in april but thats the fewest in seven months and below the already lowered expectations. The Labor Department released its monthly report today. It shows a steep drop from the average increase of about 200,000 jobs per month. But the Unemployment Rate was unchanged at 5 percent. Reporter quite a bit sharrie. Police are still trying to unravel it. The victim remains hospitalized tonight in stable condition suffering from pitbull bites to the foot and to the arm. She was in the wrong place at the wrong time. This is bricks the large pitbull shot and killed by Police Last Night in kensington. Police say the dog repeatedly attacked a 26yearold woman who was an innocent passerby. Police believe she got caught up in a neighborhood dispute involving the resident of this house in the 3200 block of north american street. Neighbors heard bloodcurdling screams and called police. Even when Police Arrived on the scene the dog continued to attack the female. The female actually jumped onto the hood of the police car. Police saw that the dog continued to bite this female and they did what they had to do. They fired just two shots, striking the dog and that ended the attack. Reporter amber, a neighbor a few doors away says she gave bricks to her neighbor just a few days ago because she has enemies. I gave her the dog. She was having a lot of issues going on in the neighborhood safetywise so she would be protected. Reporter she says she was an eyewitness to the violence here on north american last night after several adversaries allegedly couldnt gated outside that neighbors house. She was like yelling sic them. He attacked the wrong person obviously because that girl had nothing to do with anything that was going on and the girl is in the middle of the street on the ground rolling around screaming like for her life. Police are still looking for one of the suspects wanted for a violent assault on two School Officers in northeast philadelphia. They released this picture of edwin burgos. They say hes wanted in the attack that happened monday afternoon. Cell phone video shows the fight at the corner of cottman and caster avenues. One of officer suffered a broken jaw because of this. The other had several bruises. Police have arrested two suspects. Police say Roger Millington turned himself in on wednesday. The other suspect is a juvenile and was arrested yesterday. A retired Philadelphia Police officer was sentenced today on charges that he sexually assaulted a 15yearold girl. A judge ruled that walter sassy would spend one to two years in prison. Investigators say sassy met his victim while working at the courtesy stables in andorra. He was arrested back in march of 2014. Sassys attorneys immediately filed an appeal which will be heard at a later date. In the meantime he is free on house arrest. Three people from the same family are accused of running an illegal Gaming Machine in chester county. Several of them. Heim sandoval his niece. The District Attorneys Office says it seized five machines from two businesses. They raided a mexican store in oxford. The trio allegedly rigged the machines so they never paid out any winnings. All right. A lot of rain today but the end at least is in sight. Finally. The weekend is in sight and the rain is in sight and so is the sunshine. As we take a look right now at High Temperatures so far one of the coolest spots in the eastern half of the country, only 56 degrees today in philadelphia. 70 in cincinnati, near 80 in chicago and take a look at minneapolis, they are baking today with a High Temperature of 90 degrees. So, the warmth eventually is going to be pushing in. Right now the clouds lock in. A few areas of showers, a little bit of mist around the city, 53 degrees with that northeasterly wind at 17, the pressure 29. 62inches and at the shore in Atlantic City you still see some raindrops on the lens. It has dropped raining there at 54 degrees but in the distant horizon and over the open waters there looking south you see a little what looks like brightening spots and in fact with the southerly wind at 12, some drier air has can come in and it just updated. You can see the clouds are breaking apart and the sun is returning some points to the shore there. So, ill show you a picture actually coming up. The memory of Fallen Police officers is being kept alive in honor of National Law Enforcement month. Holy Family University holds a blue mass every year to honor the sacrifices of police and Emergency Responders who died in the line of duty. The ceremony included members of campus public safety, many of whom are retired police officers. The tradesmen and women who shape our nations buildings boats and bridges put their skills to the test today. The Carpenters Training center in northeast philadelphia hosted a competition in five categories including floor laying, cabinetry work. The contestants were top scorers from the schools current Apprenticeship Training class. Starting in september students at Rowan College of Gloucester County will be able to major in process technology. The new program is thanks to a partnership with the Paulsboro Refining Company which also announced a scholarship and internship opportunities today. Police in bucks county are trying to track down the person who they say put several truckers in danger on the pennsylvania turnpike. Well, this is the tenth year that the group has done its mothers day drive for kennedy Healthcare Center in sewell. And in honor of mothers day weekend a new Technology Shows us just how much we are really like our moms. Mothers and daughters share a lot of bonds including half of their genetics. A local doctor is using those connections to study how our faces change over time. That was me this summer. Growing up Robin Heckler didnt think she looked like her mother arlene and neither did anyone else. I was told i looked like my father, acted like my father, played sports like my father. But in recent years, the similarities have grown. I can see this part of me in her. But they didnt know how much they had in common until they joined is study by dr. Allen wolk. Hes using mothers daughters and on granddaughters to study how womens faces change over time. It increases my understanding of whats actually going on. Each woman is photographed with a special camera. Then the pictures are assembled into 3d images showing the facial contours including some not so obvious ones. Dr. Wolk scrolls through them documenting the changes between mother and today. Half our genes come from each parent so some features are always passed along. In this duo he noticed subtle changes around the eyes. With time, the eyebrow and its outer corner comes up and the eyebrow and inner corner actually drops. He also noticed that sagging upper eyelids arent loose skin but a loss of fat under the skin and he realized that its not gravity but a loss in bone mass that causes some facial changes. You start to see a drooping in the cheek and in the jowl. You start to get bags. Robin learned she has arlenes nose, not her dads as they always thought. Superimposed they were like almost identical. Wow. Isnt that crazy. Cool. All this time you know, you think i think nothing like my mom. Ill post a picture so you guys can see but maybe dr. Wolk has some ideas for us here. He worked with more than a dozen motherdaughter pairs so far he says the pictures show that sun damage and that inspires patients to improve their Sun Protection and skin care and its also teaching him new tactics to keep patients looking younger for longer. University trustees are expected to approve the idea today. A committee is proposing that the University Serve beer and wine at beaver stadium, the Bryce Jordan Center and the other facilities but there would be a few catches. It would only be available in the controlled areas like suites and the club seats and there would be a limit to the number of drinks. Women who have suffered baby loss, heartbreaking infertility, theyve cried thousands of tears and at one point they all lost hope. But then their miracles came to them through birth through adoption through surrogacy. Lea adopted her little threeyearold beauty josie, there she is right there after a long and emotional struggle with her own fertility so thats what inspired her to put this have had yo together. She posted it on her Facebook Page and people are sharing it like crazy. The alaska mom calls it motherhood doesnt always come easy and says it is for any mom fighting for the right for that title and for those who are still fighting. This ones very close to my heart. In all tonight three people are dead two others wounded and now police are trying to connect the dots between each of these incidents. Friday night the big story on action news is that developing situation in maryland. The first shooting happened yesterday at a high school about 15 miles outside of washington. The second happened this morning in a mall parking lot. The third just happened an hour later outside of a Grocery Store. And tonight were learning more about the plan who police say pulled the trigger in each of those locations. Karen travers live in bethesda maryland for us with details.
