Action News ReporterJeanette Reyes is live in Northern Liberties to he will the us the rest. Jeanette. Reporter good morning, matt. Police dont have very many clues but the victims account here is pretty chilling. She said she was leaving delilahs strip club behind me, she was walking toward her car when she heard gunshots. This is just off of Spring Garden and front streets. She heard the gunshots coming from that unfinished Apartment Building right across the street. Police descended on the area scouring it for clues. They used flashlights as they walked through the Apartment Building across the street and they were searching floor by floor for any evidence that may have been left behind by the shooter. Now, authorities even shut down a portion of 95 north at the height of rush hour during the investigation. Hours later, though, no shooter was i. D. d and no weapon was discovered. It is believed that the victim was the intended target. The woman was definitely shaken up. She was scared. She heard the gunshots and then realized her car was hit, laid on the side of the door where she was getting in. So shes really lucky. Those bullets missed her by inches. Reporter and even more unsettling police did find a window opened on the fifth floor of that Apartment Building and workers inside did say they heard gunshots coming from there. Right now police are looking through Surveillance Video hoping they can track this person down. Of course if you have any Information Police want to hear from you. Strong winds brought down this massive tree in nashville, tennessee. The monday afternoon storm was part of a system that brought large hail and tornadoes to the heartland. More storms are on the way. Parts of texas and southern oklahoma are in the cross hairs for bad weather. David is watching some semi strong storms just off the coast. Theyre going to be thunderstorms today, some leaving, others coming. I dont expect Severe Weather around here but as always i want you to take cover from storms because they all produce lightning and can produce drenching downpours maybe even a brief wind gust. Right now storm tracker6 live double scan shows you the bulk of this is off to the east and if i go ahead and flip this over to the birds eye view you see a lot of lightning south of new york city on long island new york. A little bit of this in ocean county starting to push out and then out to the west we have that additional stuff coming in from the gettysburg so a lull right now in philadelphia but if you are, Southern Ocean county, you are looking at somely thunderstorms and some drenching downpours that are on their way over towards Seaside Heights and eventually off the coast of the as we take a look outside we have sky6 and we are looking at cloudy conditions across the region. And we also have some fog out there as well. Not as bad as yesterday but a little bit on the patchy side as we go through the morning. Your temperature currently is 51 degrees in philadelphia. The winds are light out of the northeast at seven. And so not enough wind to break up that that patchy fog. As you take a look at future tracker6 we are staying fairly cloudy during this lull period. By the time we get into 10, 11, noon maybe, some additional showers popping through, cant rule out a popup thunderstorm within this. Again, nothing severe but drenching downpours possible from anything that does come through. And then you go up to 3 oclock and theres even more of this stuff popping through. So, its an off and on bang here. A lull, then another bop and then another lull through the rest of the day. As we go into the evening rush hour it still looks like the potential to be rather wet in spots. Finally we get later into the evening hours, by 11 oclock most of this is pushing off toward the east. What are we expecting temperaturewise . Well be knocking numbers down. It looks like it will be a lot cloudier than it looked yesterday. 47 trees by 8 oclock, 50 by 10 oclock and then by noon, 56. Also cooling us today that occasional hit of rain and drenching downpours from any thunderstorm. 62 degrees by 3 oclock. Were looking at a high of 63 and im going to put that at around 4 oclock this afternoon. Still holding the low 60s by 6 oclock. High temperatures this afternoon cooler up north. In some spots youll only get to the tupper 50s like allentown and trenton. Philadelphia itself maybe the low 60s but there are some spots to the west that could still go to the upper 60s ask its really just going to depend on how. Exactly things evolve today. What to expect in generally . Any storms we get or showers are going to be rather scattered so it wont be raining all the time but there is the possibility with heavy rain from any thunderstorm that happens to pop and again sorh stuck in the 50s and the rest of this the farther south you go to the 60s, maybe upper spots. Tomorrow looks like an easier forecast. Weve got sunshine, mild conditions, winds a little breezy, 10 to 15 miles per hour. And a high of 64 degrees should be a good looking wednesday. Your sevenday from accuweather, todays high is going to be 63 degrees, cloudy skies a spotty shower or a thunderstorm is possible as you just saw straight into the evening. Then tomorrow partly to mostly sunny on wednesday, breezy, 64 degrees there. And bright and cooler on thursday with a high of just 57. Your next shot at rain is friday. I think the best chance is in the afternoon and evening as more showers and periods of rain build in, a high of just 48. And there could be a damp start on saturday with some lingering shower activity but we expect some sun and drying in the afternoon with a high of 60. And then low 60s sunday and monday both days look dry. Remember when were not on the air you can always get the latest Weather Information by going to 6abc. Com weather. Look out for thunderstorms today. Theyll be spotty but they could be drenchers. You got it. Thanks, david.
