Reporter tam, thats right weve been hearing several reports this morning of fires possibly caused by lightning strikes. Thats what authorities believe may have happened in west deptford. Theres not a whole lot of visible damage to the house. But firefighters believe the lightning struck the chimney and sparked a fire in the attic. Firefighters were called out at 3 00 a. M. As the storms were rolling through and the fire was under control in a halfhour. The storms were powerful and tore through areas quickly. In Warrington Township, bucks county there was a fire in the Single Family home on the 200 block of summer ridge circle. Its too early to say definitively if lightning caused that, as well. It took halfhour to get it under control. Companies arrived on the scene and smoke showing from the roof area. Fire was contained to the attic, we have no reports of injuries civilian or firefighters. Fire is under control at this time. Reporter the Warrington Township fire marshal is on the scene of that fire investigating the cause and the origin. New this morning, here, a hail of gunfire critically injured a 23yearold man overnight. The victim was walking along West Cumberland street in Strawberry Mansion when he was hit with a barrage of bullets. The victim was shot 4 times, but the gunman fired 12 shots. The victim is in stable condition, no arrests yet. Police are looking for a gunman who killed napped a teenager and stole kidnapped a teenager and stole 30,000 from his bustleton home. Police say the gunmen grabbed the boy and forced him to call his parents the teen talked to his father. They have my son kidnapped and then my son call us from the guys phone and said give us everything, the money, the jewelry whatever youve got. I guess it scared my son and he told them everything we had and they took everything. He gave the suspects cash an jewelry and other valuables.
