The racially charged anger spilled into the streets again overnight as protesters again clashed with police. Who fired tear gas into the crowd. With the National Guard now musculing in. Abcs Tahman Bradley is in ferguson and has the latest. Reporter the missouri National Guard trying to keep order on the streets of ferguson. Theyre under the command of the state Highway Patrol. Which has so far failed to ease tensions here. What happens is the Peaceful Protesters gather. But the, the other element, blend in. And now they blend in and thats whats been causing us some issues. Reporter as families and businesses prepared for another night of violence. President obama pleaded for peace and order. To the community in ferguson that is rightly hurting and looking for answers, let me call once again for us to seek some understanding rather than simply holler at each other. Reporter at the heart of all this unrest, what happened between these two men, Darren Wilson, a white police officer, recognized for excellent service. And Michael Brown, a young black man about to start college. The results of several autopsies of18yearold coming in. At least six shots. It could be more. But at least six. Reporter the medical examiner hired by the family saying it is not clear if brown was charging forward or surrendering. The muzzle of the gun was at least one to two feet away. The muzzle at the time of discharge. Could have been 30 feet away. Reporter then conflicting accounts of just what happened. It is our understanding at this point in the investigation that within the police car there was a struggle over the officers weapon. Reporter eyewitnesses though tell a very different story. An that grand jury could meet as soon as wednesday. Some people here on the streets are rallying in support of officer wilson. But many people here want to see him arrested. Dr. Michael boden says a bullet wound to Michael Browns right arm may indicate the 18yearolds hand were up or his back was turned to the shooter. Reporter she disappeared two months ago after telling her husband she was going for a hike. But a friend later told investigators she was actually going on a secret hunting trip with lee. Her husband, marine Lance Corporal Jonathan Corwin reported her missing the very next day. We believe in the beginning her disappearance was suspicious. Reporter a search warrant first revealed lee denied knowing much about erin. Later confessed they kissed. The two volunteer together at this horse ranch. In a statement, corwins family said please continue to pray for our family and justice for erin. Authorities are bidding their case against lee. Who moved to alaska with his family this summer. Preliminary results showing brown was shot six times including twice in the head. There is no gunshot residues on the skin surface. So that the muzzle of the gun was at least one to two feet away. On saturday, august 16th, the search concluded with the discovery of erin corwins body in 140foot mine shaft. The manner of death has been determined to be homicide. Corwins alleged lover, Christopher Brandon lee is in custody. A friend of corwins told detectives lee may be the father of her unborn child.
