He says he was simply standing here on 42nd street in front of the Grand Hyatt Hotel when he was cuffed and tackled by five plainclothes officers who mistook him for a criminal. He wants on apology. He was waiting for a ride to the open when officers working an Identity Theft ring thought he was one of the criminals. A retired Police Officer who actually works at the hotel recognized blake, said he was freed to go afterwards. But this morning, questions are lingering about why this happened. The idea he claims that he was rushed by a person in a pair of shorts and tshirt who pushed him to the ground and he was assisted by four others who identified themselves ultimately as Police Officers. A man facing trespassing charges after boarding an empty plane without authorization. Security officers spotted him on the plane inside the United Airlines terminal near gate 74. That was about 8 30 last night. They said he had gone through proper security screenings. Officers got on that plane and placed the man under arrest. The pilot who saved the lives of dozens of passengers says hes finished flying. Captain chris hanke says its his first time in 42 years that he ever faced a lifethreatening emergencies. He said it happened on one of the last runs before retirement. After he noticed flames, he made a decision to hit the brakes. His crew evacuated all 172 people from the plane. I looked behind me.
