This is the pressure change in the last three hours. This pink off shore shows the highest pressure change, which is right where the low pressure is forming. We will get one of those storms we call a bomb. And that is what is happening to the low pressure system off shore. The pressure falls rapidly. If it falls 24 millibars within 24 hours its rapidly intensifying and bombs ou. It the sign of a strong noreaster which is what we are getting off shore right now.
