people live in the small town. 60 people decided to stay put and 40 of them live in the flood plain areas. rescue crews went in yesterday trying to convince people to leave because the water will continue to rise. today, all 50ed. >> gates of the conowingo dam is expect to open which hasn't happened since 1972 during hurricane agnes when there was severe flooding. knows port deposit is anxious at 95 stretch. that is going to be a rough ride this morning. and some of the stuff worked its way towards towson. there's heavy rain bands to be had and some of the stuff work northwest so into baltimore county looks like the latest batch did tend to dry up a little. we are work its way towards manchester and hampstead. look at this starting to develop. now what's left of lee is back to the west and has been working westward may start to pull east as katia well off the coast is working to the east. but generally we are watching this flow. when we have a south eastern wind you see it enhance off the chesapeake and if you are lined up under one of the band, more heavy storms, more flooding. virginia got it yesterday like ellicott city had the day before and i am afraid somebody may wind up with some deluge rain train again today. we will watch out for that. mid to upper 70s. and there could be some scattered flooding and road problems. right now for the latest on traffic here's collapsed part of the road and there's emergency roadwork going on. 95 at 175. we have traffic building in both directions but no incidents to report. we are doing okay here between the beltways if you are traveling down to the capital beltway. we have an incident on the outer loop before providence road. this is the outer loop at providence an accident there but right now, there are no major delays. so that's good news with the light volume. megan. a dog celebrated his 28th birthday. max is possibly the oldest dog in the world and the owner she wants this on record. she is trying to get him in the record books and tried several times over the past years to get him in the guinness book of world records but she had no luck and sent in his birth certificate and vet records. but generous susquehanna river crested at 38.83 feet in wilkes- barre. locally the streets of havre de grace have been turned into streams, puddles and ponds and this morning many people are taking the call for a mandatory evacuation very seriously. harford county volunteer fire and ems came to the rescue for some folks. crews helped people at the citizens care center ambulances lined the streets shuteling left throughout the day sunday morning and another one of those bands setting up nearby and we are trying to be optimistic for the ravens game but the threat of showers linger. 78 today, some heavy showers if you get underneath one of the rain bands it could be flooding. tonight we are back down to 64. we are going 80s over the weekend and we are going for diminished showers with the threat
