lane closures there. around the metro area, especially anne arundel county, arnold really took the brunt of it. richie highway closed in two directions. one at moore road, the other place at college highway. st. stevens church road, closed in both directions. baltimore city getting it too. westbound northern parkway, clyburn avenue. no issues on the 95 corridor, up and down, pretty much from harford county, down towards the capital beltway. 95 is checking in incident flee baltimore city. no issues at caton avenue. as we check our drive times, looking good on the outer loop. five minutes down towards i-70. three minutes from white marsh boulevard to the beltway. harbor tunnel thruway checking in pretty clean. megan and jamie, back to you. 6:01. storms rolled through our area yesterday leaving thousands of people without power, knocking down trees, here we are in beltsville. a woman died after winds caused a tree to crash down on her car. the passenger had to go to the hospital, no word on the extent of her injuries. yesterday's storms have left thousands still without power. nearly 40,000 people, many in anne arundel, baltimore county, baltimore city. if you need to report a power outage, call this number: two minutes after 6:00, 77 degrees right now. his superior said stop the chase, he didn't. this morning a motorcyclist is dead and an officer is now suspended. linda sow joins us in the stoudemiro tell us what happened. >> reporter: it started on northern parkway in the city, the officer tried to pull over a motorcyclist for racing another car, he refused to stop. haines holloway-lillston was leaving his job at a baltimore bar where he worked security. the chase ended in the county on the ramp to delaney valley road. holloway-lillston was ejected from his bike and pronounced dead at the scene. the officer was told repeatedly to stop pursuing the bike, but he didn't follow orders. the victim's roommates say they'll miss the man who looked out for them. >> i'm going to live with the spirit and not get mad at anybody right now. so he's, i can't bring him back, there's nothing i can do. >> officer beall has been suspended and is on paid leave leave. police haven't said how fast the motorcycle or the police cruiser were going, but holloway-lillston didn't have a motorcycle license. we have a deadly crash on monroe street. as police chase a suspected drug dealer, this happened around 3:00 yesterday afternoon. 27-year-old tyrone hix hit three police vehicles and another car which killed the driver. >> innocent victim, an innocent victim driving through the city of baltimore collided with a maniac as the commissioner would say, maniac blew a stop sign ending this girl's life. extremely traumatic. >> the woman's name hasn't been released. but she was 25 years old and was from springhill, virginia. hicks was tased before what he taken into custody. he faces a number of charges including vehicular manslaughter. four people are recovering this morning after being stabbed near east point mall. baltimore county police say the victims were attacked around 2:00 yesterday morning. one of the victims was also hit by a car. police believe this attack was a result of road rage. all of the victims are expected to be okay. two people were arrested. usually just getting into the playoffs is a goal, but not this year. the goal has been set to get to the super bowl. abc2 news, sherrie johnson, right nows we get started with the season. good morning, sherrie. >> good morning, jamie. >> are you ready for some football? that's the kind of business the federal trade commission warns about, you only get paid commissions by recruiting new distributors. getting restraining orders to stop them from promoting the offer. it's hard to find out much else, even who owns tbi. >> the focus of the website isn't so much on the vacation plan, but on you recruiting people to participate in this business opportunity. those are the biggest warning flags you can super. >> reporter: if you get one of these offers, ask a lot of questions before you sign on and start recruiting your friends and family, otherwise the company leading back to canada, drops the humidity down. even though we're still at 72 around the beltway. 60s outside the beltway and much more pleasant feel to the air. abundant sunshine in central and northern maryland. you'll see clouds hanging out and stalling to our south. we expect to have a mostly sunny sky for today. we'll throw added clouds into the afternoon. could build thunderstorms into mountains to our west but also, just throw in afternoon clouds for us. increasing humidity and we stop our timeline here wednesday morning. wednesday afternoon, we'll probably build in the chance of more storms. that'll extend through thursday. after this, we get a deader air mass into next weekend. two-degree guarantee under a mostly sunny sky. the drop in humidity will make it feel so much more problems towards i-70. on both sides, inner and outer loop on the northeast corner at harford road, traffic moving very well. up in elkton, we have two incidences to let you know about. high water has route 7 closed. also fire activity in elkton, pulaski highway. just west of nottingham road. police on the scene directing traffic. in the city, we have reports of a crash involving a downed tree as well. westbound northern parkway at clyburn avenue. expect to see activity there too. dundalk, fire activity again. north point boulevard, rose bank avenue. police on the scene guiding traffic there.
