another accident up in harford county has the intersection at -- whiteford road and rocks road closed in pylesville. the roads are wet and it's foggy making your way around the area. as we peek at the cameras, no problems on the beltway, traffic moving at a good pace, starting to pick up a little on the outer loop at old court road but seem to be moving pretty fine on the beltway as we look at drive times, also, they are pretty good as well as on the top side from belair road to providence road. outer loop five minutes. starting to build a little on 95 southbound from whitemarsh boulevard to 695, four minutes. on the outer loop between the 83s only one minute so far, back to you. it's a minute after 6:00. martin o'malley got his political science degree by working for senator barbara mukulski. he would lose to john for a state senate seat in 1990 but wouldn't lose again, winning a city council post, then mayor, then governor. linda so as the governor tries to keep his winning streak alive. >> this time it's about winning another four years as governor. o'malley will be here later this morning at 11:15 in fells point. he'll make his case to voters to keep him in office for another term. o'malley's re-election campaign will start with a three-day tour of the state which includes 11 different stops including columbia, catonsville and aberdeen. he's facing a rematch with former governor bob ehrlich and likely the same issues from the last race will return this time but republicans hope that will turn the tide in their favor. >> it's true that we've had to do a number of things that were tough and difficult and short term unpopular but we do them for one reason only and that is to move maryland forward especially in these difficult times. >> again the re-election campaign will kick off later this morning at 11:15 in fells point. baltimore mayor stephanie rawlings-blake will also be here, afterwards o'malley will hit the road and make several other stops today in prince george's county, southern maryland and montgomery county. live in fells point, linda so, abc2 news. a 2-year-old boy is back home with his father after his mother was hit and killed crossing philadelphia road at the beltway. police say 17-year-old mavi maldonado was walking from golden ring shopping center pushing the stroller and crossing philadelphia road at the beltway in rosedale. she was heading to the bus stop when a pickup truck jumped the curb and hit her. the 2-year-old was in the stroller but was pushed out of the way. >> she said that she -- ( indiscernible ) --- >> maldonado's friends and family believe that the mom made a split-second decision to save her son. police are still trying to figure out what caused the driver to jump the curb. he did stay on the scene to help the woman and her son. at this point no charges have been filed. 6:03. police say in -- four suspects in a home invasion in towson. they are still looking for troy traylor of susquehanna avenue. he has a tattoo of a star on the left side of his neck. investigators say he and three other men robbed a house on east burke avenue last week taking three laptops and playstation. two other suspects are already in custody and police haven't released the identity of the fourth suspect yet. anne arundel county police are looking for a man who opened fire in the parking lot of this super fresh on ritchie highway in glen burnie. happened around 10:30 friday night. witnesses say they saw a man with a gun shoot a 19-year-old man, then jump into a four-door car. police say 19-year-old lewis edwards jr. is the suspect. police have an arrest warrant on fire for attempted first degree murder, assault and various handgun charges. if you know where he is call police right away. time 6:04. it's often called the most important job. teaching our children and today we want to pass along where educators can get a lesson in job search 101. sherrie johnson joins us live to explain. >> reporter: good morning. that's right. we are out here at the state fairgrounds in timonium where right now things are quiet but later this afternoon it's going to be all abuzz. they are going to have a job expo and teacher expo right here at the exhibition hall. they are expecting 3,000 people. during these tough economic times a lot of people are laying some teachers off but not baltimore county public schools. as a matter of fact, they are expecting to hire anywhere from 600 to 700 educators. and right now i have dr. donald joining me live with human resources. thank you for being out here in this weather to talk to us. 3,000 people expected to turn out. coming from all over, what, michigan, from all over. >> yes. we recruited 53 different colleges and universities that range from michigan on the west to new york in the north and as far south as alabama and florida. >> reporter: what are you looking for?
