right at will shire road. if you are traveling on 95 through the white marsh area no delays from route 43 into the city. a live look at the harrisburg expressway in hunt valley at shawan road a nice easy ride down to 695. once you get on to the jfx it's going to take you 11 minutes to travel from the beltway tall way down to east fayette street. now 695 no delays whatsoever if you are going to the outer loop from 95 all the way to 83. 11 minute ride. and it will be clear over on the west site 11 minutes as well to travel the lout from 795 -- outer loop from 795 down towards 95. charlie? could maryland be getting a sixth casino? that's what lawmakers will decide as they reconvene for another special session beginning today in annapolis. and abc2 news linda so is live this morning at federal hill with a preview. >> reporter: yeah, when all is said and done, maryland could be getting a sixth casino at the national harbor in prince george's county. table games like blackjack could also be coming to all of the casino sites. if the measure is passed, the final say voters will have the final say come november? a referendum. lawmakers will also consider whether to give current casino operators a tax break to make up for the impact this adding a sixth casino. the company will owns maryland live and anne arundel mills is against allowing the casino. they say the bill is unfair to current operators who have already invested millions of dollars to build their site without knowing another casino could be built nearby. right now it's unclear if the measure has enough support to make it through. delegate ron george says he's not even sure if everyone is going to show up because of summer vacation plans let alone if the leaders are ready to work together. >> so you have the president of the senate has his ideas. other leaders in the senate. leaders at the house and other people in the house have their ideas and it means that we have a lot of work to do. >> reporter: right now it's unclear just how long the special session could last. it could be anywhere from three days up to a week. we're live in federal hill, linda so, abc2 news. gambling will not be the only item on the agenda. another issue is pit bulls and whether or not they're considered dangerous. just because of the breed. this all stems from a ruling from the court of appeals maryland's highest court which found that pit bulls are inherently dangerous. supporters say that most dog related deaths in the u.s. are caused by pit bulls but opponents say -- >> there are little dogs that can bite and there are big dogs that can bite. all animals can bite. it is really about responsible pet ownership. that's where the focus should be. >> there's a public hearing for today in the senate. now the house will pick up the issue coming up tomorrow on the legislation. that hearing today is once again open to the public. well, maryland live casinos now offering more than just slots. the casino will also be home to the rams' head center stage a 500 seat concert venue. that opens august 30th with an invitation only performance by the charlie daniels band. the public can enjoy live her inside along a pennsylvania highway this week. two men they were driving by. they stopped to help. police say her car burned so hot they couldn't identify the make or model of the car and if the men hadn't arrived when they did that woman likely would not have survived. >> i don't want to hear the hero thing okay? we did what we had to do to help somebody. heros are fire and policemen knowing they're going to do it okay? we came up on a scene and helped somebody. >> police believe the woman fell asleep at the wheel which caused her to swerve off the road. she's in hospital now recovering an hour and it did make landfall in the yucatan peninsula yesterday as a category 1 hurricane. now it's pushing over the bay of campeche and with that it will start to make a second landfall heading towards southern mexico. so that's the scenario with tropical storm ernesto staying away from us. we look at the future temps for today and we'll be right around 86 to 89 for your lunch break. over to teacher decided the best way to stop kids from swearing was to have them swear. that lesson was about cursing and students had to write down all of the bad words they knew. >> everyone was nervous kids to not swear in school and officials stand by the unusual lesson plan because they say it allows teachers to gain control. the coprincipal for that school says in the past, this lesson helped cut
