Nicole is in the newsroom with details. The violence breaking out late last night on the citys east side. Officers were responding to a call about a person with a gun at a home. When they arrived on the scene. Authorities say a man wearing body armor and armed with an Assault Rifle shot at them. Those living nearby were ordered to shelter in place for about an hour. Before the suspect was finally killed after midnight inside the home. Heres what the citys mayor had to say about the violent the radio a 303, which signifies shots fired and an officer down. Butted they engaged further in an exchange of gunfire. Two of the officers dragged their fellow officers out of the line of fire. Or return the ballots so the voter can complete the information themselves. Officials say a mailing went out notifying everyone whose ballots were erroneous. Often the witness lives in the same home as the voter. And it is a simple case of human error.
