The reporter concern after a woman walking this popular marblehead trail told police she was confronted by a masked man wednesday morning. Male approached a woman, reached out and tried to grab letter. The captain says the woman immediately backed away and began shouting for help. As she was approaching him, she saw him on the bike nearby the fence and he got off the bike a said, i knew there was going to be a problem as soon as i saw that. The reporter others on the trail heard her calls for help and called 911. That call prompted police to close off about a mile of the trail, between where the incident happened into salem as they search for the man. The k9 unit searched the trail for any sign of the suspect, who they say took off on a mountain wyche. Dog walkers, runners and school kids all frequent the old rail trail. A 100pound, 75yearold woman somehow survived three nights in the elements and cold temperatures. This woman disappeared sunday afternoon, and hundreds of people have been searching for her ever since. Today, she was found, about a mile from her home. Fox 25s Kathryn Burcham live for us in dracut with how the small signs that Kathryn Lucier was in this backyard. The door to camper here had been left open and a blanket inside had been used. But it was actually a blue and white bowl that she was last seen with three days ago that led searchers to this spot. I believe she was right here. The reporter tucked away under the tarp of this boat, Kathryn Lucier would have been hidden from anyone looking for her, but a few feet away lying on the ground, a distress signal of sorts, a blue and white bowl. Thats the bowl. The reporter when 75yearold lucier wandered away from her dracut home, she was holding a bowl and a soon. Firefighter Justin George and his wife were walking in the backyard when he spotted the bowl and then lucier, who despite suffering from parkinsons and dementia, carried it with her for three straight days.
