This west side of the heaviest cell moving towards tampa in 10 minutes and ebor in five mites. If you live anywhere from st. Pete to the other side of pinellas, realtime lightning flashes as you see. This is moving from east to west. This will move towards pasadena and st. Pete beach in the next 10 to 15 minu so over the next several hours, this movesgh. Possibility of very heavy rain, gusty winds, a lot of lightning and maybe a Severe Thunderstorm Warning or two. We will update that in a couple minutes. Thank you, denis. Thats the main goal, to keep this right here. Because if not, the whole town is going to be flooded. Reporter theyre working in big teams or just father and son. Your neighbors. So today fema approved the request from many of the parishes, which is what louisiana calls counties here, many of the parishes for disaster declaration and disaster assistance. As todd mentioned, the lakes are still rising because some of that water drains into local lakes. And then the big rivers go into the smaller tributaries. Bottom line, this is not getting much better. If there is more rain, not even close to what they had before, it will make the flooding worse. For our area, were still tracking storms. We dont know why he may have done it, but Police Believe they have the man. He is charged with two counts of Second Degree murder. He shot the two saturday afternoon. Police have recovered a gun and clothing similar to what the he was Orange County leah rested for an unrelated hit and run that happened shortly after the shooting. As firefighters continue right now to contain this huge wildfire in california, you see it happening here, police have now arrested the man they believe started it. 40yearold damian fashek is in jail on 17 counts of arson and being held on a 5 million bond. Police are not saying how they linked him to this specific fire, but they are saying the charges are also connected to a number of fires over the year. More than 100 homes have been lost so far in the clayton fire which started on saturday, north of san francisco. A Colorado Firefighter took this picture near the beaver creek wildfire. A fire tornado or a fire whirl is a whirlwind caused by a fire often made up of flame or ash. They usually occur when intense rising heat and turbulent wind condition form in a vortex. This particular fire started burning on june 19th and isnt expected to be fully contained until october. Great shot there from river gate. You can see how its moving of the screen it is pouring. On the other side of the screen, skies have cleared or beginning to clear. There is a look at it. Most of the lightning is no off shore. Take a closer look at Pinellas County and areas from downtown tampa, right on back to the beach in clearwater. Now, i took the lightning off so you could get a better idea where the rain has fallen. Theres so much lightning, its hard to see the radar. The heaviest rain is moving off shore. From indian pete. Thats where the heaviest rain is. Its all moving west. Give it about 10, 11 more minutes and this will be off shore. At the top of the hour at 5 00, this rain will pretty much have ended over the coastal areas of Pinellas County. Largo, youre going to see it ending in a couple minutes. Clearwater, already the heaviest is beginning to wind down. Lets look at futurecast. Once the storms end, a secondary area of weaker rain counties, right through 7 00, 8 00. Once we hit 10 00, its gone. You will be waking up to another sunny day. Tomorrow an exact replica of today. 4 00, the storms pop up and quickly move off shore. I think we see a pot everyone change by later on this he can window end instead of the east to west flow. I think we see more of an on shore flow that could mean morning showers along the coast on saturday. More on that as we get to the weekend.
