The state Senate Passing a bill that sets new guidelines for how the evidence is handled. Dna evidence must be submitted to a crime lab in 30 days and the kits must be tested within four months of submission. A companion bill is expected to go before the statehouse next week. It was recently found there are more than 13,000 untested rape kits all across florida. Officers across the state sure that sex offenders and predators are where they are supposed to be.
