Police say the group stole a car and took off on a joyride. Then slammed into the officers who were working undercover. The officers went from one from tampa, the other from st. Pete are expected to be ok. The teens, that young group, we hear they suffered the most serious injuries. The officers were out as part of a task force set up to stop young people from stealing cars, they were on a call about another stolen car when the group crashed into them. Either take the Howard Frankland which seems to be moving pretty good right now or you can go through oldsmar and take tampa road to oldsmar going.
