One witness, alex schmitt told me he was moving his truck around 6 40, when he saw a school bus turning right from 9th street to oklahoma and hit a 17 year schmitt says he immediatly ran to check on the woman. Who was grabbing her chest and gasping for air. But could not talk. The medical examinders office says that the 17 year old, died on scene. She has not yet been identified. A man and two girls were taken into custody. 3 an hourslong manhunt for a man suspected of ambushing two Iowa Police Officers came to a quiet close earlier this and the fallen officers. The manhunt for scott greene, who police say gunned down two Iowa Police Officers overnight, ended quietly along this rural road, when he gave himself up to a employee of the state department of natural resources. Resources. He flagged down an employee of the dnr, presented his id to that employee and asked that that employee call 911. This exclusive Surveillance Video from a nearby business shows one view of what happens. The bus turns left on a green light. From 9th place to bus hit the teen, but it stops right after. We spoke to the witness who called 911. As soon as i seen that my first reaction was to see if she was okay. The bus stopped, reversed a foot or two. He got out, put the four way flashers on. Then i walked up, asked her if she was okay. She didnt respond, she was holding her chest area.
